Parade of days

My body of work, Parade of Days, explores the quiet rhythm of routine, the weight of passing time, and the subtle shifts in light and color that mark our daily lives. This project began with a series of questions about how identity and personal worth are perceived and interwoven. I found myself questioning whether a person’s value is judged by their outward appearance or their actions, why these perceptions lead to respect or misunderstanding, and how these judgments ultimately shape personal life stories, roles, and status. Through oil painting and mixed media, I use silhouettes to unpack these questions, depicting themes of time, gender, labor, and resolve.
