In Echoes Through Time I strive to reveal the invisible routine of essential tasks typically performed by women. This installation is inspired by my grandmother’s journal and her daily life of work. Through the use of encaustic paint and mixed media Echoes Through Time explores the issues of time, gender, work, and resolve to elevate the voices of women.

Imagine a ladder of rope and bone that you are trying to climb and suddenly the rungs of the ladder collapse beneath you. Nothing to Hang Onto is a installation sculpture consisting of rope, bone, graphite, encaustic, and lace. The handprints on the wall are made of graphite for the installation.
